Christmas on Sunset is an annual Christmas light display located at 309 Sunset Road, West Reading in Berks County Pennsylvania. Our display features over 37,000 lights synchronized to music that can be heard from outdoor speakers or from your car by tuning to 88.3 FM. Our twelve foot mega tree features almost 20,000 lights by itself. We offer free family entertainment during the holiday months as our Christmas light display runs daily starting the day after Thanksgiving through New Year's Eve. When the sun goes down and the temperature drops, we welcome neighbors from all over, for a fun filled night of holiday songs, beautiful lights and festive fun!

Our display began in 2006 when my wife, Katie Macrina, and I wanted to celebrate our son's first Christmas. The display had nearly 12,000 Christmas Lights. In 2008, we added a 12 foot Mega tree dubbed "Molly's Mega Tree" to celebrate our daughter's first Christmas. The Mega tree featured over 15,000 Christmas lights and was surrounded by 28 mini trees each covered with over 200 Christmas Lights.

As a child my parents took me to Christmas Village in Bernville, PA. Ever since then I have been fascinated by Christmas lights. In 2005, while watching a tv show about outrageous Christmas displays I was inspired to create a display of my own. My interest in computers and electronics, along with my family's love of Christmas, were also big motivators for building the display. Over the last few years, the number of homes decorated on Sunset Road in West Reading has grown. My dream is to live on a street where every house has at least a few strings of Christmas Lights on it. Our mission is to provide free family entertainment during the holidays. Bring your thermos full of hot chocolate, and stop by 309 Sunset to dazzle in the beautiful holiday light display. It is free of charge and very kid friendly!
